Persimmon Homes has joined forces with Team GB – the British Olympic Association – to give away over £1 million to help projects for young people aged under 18 across England, Wales and Scotland.
The competition has three categories: Education and Arts, Sport, and Health, each with the following prizes:
- First prize: £100,000
- Second prize: £50,000
- Third prize: £20,000
Alongside the top prizes, there are smaller individual prizes of £1,000 up for grabs during April and May 2020, and 87 shortlisted finalists who do not win one of the main prizes will receive £5,000 each as runners-up.
In June, the Persimmon Charitable Foundation will meet to select three finalists for each of Persimmon’s 32 UK businesses – one from each category of health, education and arts and sport to represent them in the national final.
A public online vote of all 96 finalists, running from July to September, will determine the national winners.
