This September, The Prince's Trust will be launching their Get Into Technology programme in Manchester - run in partnership with Amazon Web Services (part of their Re/Start initiative) and Generation. 
This free 12-week programme will provide training to young people aged 18 - 29 to become Cloud Operations Engineers, with a guaranteed interview with a tech employer at the end of the programme.
The programme is already running successfully in London, with participants going on to permanent Cloud Ops roles with employers including the Financial Times, Sony Playstation and Cancer Research UK within one month of completing the programme, with salaries ranging from £25-35k (GM salaries are likely to be between £22k and £26k).
The first Manchester programme will begin on 16 September, and individuals should submit their applications via Generation’s webpage by 23 August.
