26 Jun 2019 - 15:51 by michelle.foster

Prosper North is a new programme of free business support for cultural heritage organisations based in the north. Prosper North

Prosper North is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, managed by Creative United and forms part of Key Fund’s wider Northern Cultural Regeneration Fund. The aim of the programme is to increase resilience, growth and sustainability in the cultural heritage sector.

Around 80 organisations – from small museums to cultural venues, from archives to festivals - will benefit from a free programme of intensive business support including multiple 1:1 sessions with a business adviser matched to their needs, plus a series of workshops and webinars.

Between May 2019 and May 2021, 3 cohorts of participants will benefit from a series of free workshops on subjects such as business modelling, social investment and change management, and one-to-one business advice. There will be three enrollment points over the 2 year period: September 2019, March 2020 and September 2020. If you are looking to start the programme in September, applications should be submitted by 5 August 2019. Applications for the other editions of Prosper North will be open until August 2020.

Organisations can find out more about eligibility and how to apply at a series of briefing events, with one in Kendal on 3 July and one in Liverpool on 17 July.
