We are excited to be running the first Spirit of Manchester Awards tailored specifically to Manchester's voluntary and community sector. We now have the Lord Mayor of Manchester as one of our five judges and he will also be presenting on the night.
The other judges include Maya from HLF, Atiha, Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Manchester, Val, CEO Social Enterprise North West and Jez who was responsible for co-ordinating the clean up after the Manchester riots. A page on the judges will be on our website shortly.
The evening which will include viewings of films showcasing the work of all the shortlisted applicants, street dance and a special song from one of our registered volunteers.

You can nominate your community group or organisation, a volunteer you know or a business who has helped your group. We also have a special category for Contribution to the sector for someone you think has made a significant contribution over the last year.
