TLC: Talk, Listen, Change care about equality and diversity, not only for their service delivery, but also for their teams.

Having recently conducted an equality and diversity audit of their governance team, TLC: Talk, Listen, Change have identified the opportunity to expand the diversity of their Board of Trustees. As such, and in line with their charity values, TLC: Talk, Listen, Change are seeking two new BAME (Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic) Trustees to join their board.

TLC: Talk, Listen, Change are passionate about being a progressive organisation and want to ensure that their leadership is reflective of a diverse population and those who use their services. The successful candidates will join the existing Board, which includes a range of professionals from diverse backgrounds and demographics.

TLC: Talk, Listen, Change are looking for people with skills in the following areas:
Digital, Political Influence, PR/Media, Human Resources, Income Generation and Safeguarding.

As a Trustee, you will have:

  • Induction, training and reimbursable expenses
  • Opportunities to make strategic decisions and develop new skills
  • Opportunities to network with senior professionals
  • Influence to shape innovative projects
  • The chance to improve health and wellbeing of people and communities

The expected time commitment is six Trustee meetings per year (meetings are held in Manchester, on Wednesdays between 6-8pm), one full day strategy day and some ad-hoc committee work.
