Are you involved in a community group that has a great idea for a community event or project or wants to extend its community offer? The University of Manchester and its main construction partners – Balfour Beatty, Laing O’Rourke and Vinci support the University Construction Community fund which helps neighbourhood initiatives in areas closest to the University’s construction sites around Oxford Road and near Owens Park in Fallowfield.
The fund is open to established non-profit groups, voluntary groups and other community groups, as well as groups of residents and community members working together for the first time.
The deadlines for small grants up to £500 are 7 February 2020, 6 March 2020, and 3 April 2020.
The deadline for applications up to £2,000 is 6 March 2020.
