Applications are currently open to the WREN Community Action Fund, which makes grants towards the provision, maintenance or improvement of: 
• Village Halls and Community Centres
• Public Play Areas
• Publicly available multi-use games areas, skate parks and BMX tracks
• Sport and recreation grounds including pavilions and clubhouses with full public access
• Churches – community spaces only
• Nature reserves
• Public gardens, parks, country parks and woodlands with at least dawn to dusk access
• Museums
To be eligible for funding, your project must be based within 10 miles of an FCC landfill site in England. You can apply for a grant of £2,000 - £100,000, with a maximum total project cost of £500,000. Any grant from the WREN Community Action Fund must be spent within 12 months.
The deadline for applications to this round is 5pm on 14 March.
