Xaverian College Work Experience for Students

8 Dec 2017 - 08:18 by michelle.foster

Students will leave Xaverian College with the academic skills needed to pursue their chosen career. However it is the practical, hands-on skills that can only be learnt on the job that their students seek, in order to help them to excel. Xaverian College

Could you offer a student some relevant and constructive work experience?
Xaverian College have BTEC students studying; Business, Computing, IT, Science, Health and Social Care and Sport that all need work experience as part of the vocational element of their studies – these students generally need a week long placement.

As well as that the College has A-Level students who require work experience on top of their studies to aid them in their university applications – they need to show commitment and dedication and so work experience could be a small amount of hours per week over a number of weeks.

Could you make this a mutually valuable opportunity?
You are covered on your public liability insurance and where necessary students are DBS (CRB) checked to an enhanced level.

Xaverian College consider work experience to be an invaluable achievement for young people and their career development, and would like to express their appreciation of any support you could offer to their students.

If you are in a position to offer some work experience or would like to chat about the possibilities and to work together in the future, contact Rachel Hopkins, Progression Officer, on 0161 224 1781, or email: [email protected]
