Christmas and New Year closure information [1]

The Macc offices will be closed from 1pm on 24 December and will open in the New Year on 2 January.

Tuesday 24 December – Thursday 2 January closed
Please note: there will be no drop-in on 24 December or 31 December

10GMVoluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) groups and organisations in each of the local authority areas of Greater Manchester are being sought to provide peer support opportunities for parents, carers and families of children with suspected or diagnosed Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).

CAHN scoping of Caribbean and African community in Greater Manchester [12]

DepaulThe And Breathe exhibition explores how people can interact with art to nurture their mental and emotional wellbeing.

It also considers the theme of care, particularly how we care for ourselves and our communities.

To understand the role a gallery can play in supporting those who care for others, Manchester Art Gallery asked the Depaul UK team to take part in a series of mindfulness sessions at the gallery.

The Human Lending Library [17]

Human Lending LibraryThe Human Lending Library®, which matches charity and social enterprise leaders with successful entrepreneurs as mentors, has opened in Manchester.

Launched by the charity Expert Impact, the initiative has seen more than 200 leaders of social enterprises and charities ‘borrow’ an Expert for advice on improving their organisations and increasing their social impact.
