Can you help the Lalley Centre make sure that Christmas 2020 is special by donating chocolate advent calendars. You can make sure that children do not miss out. The Lalley Centre is asking for donations before 27 November. The calendars can be donated between 10am-4pm, Wednesday to Friday at The Lalley Centre, St Malachy’s School Basement, Eggington Street, Colluhurst, Manchester, M40 7RG.
Activities and information to help you develop new skills, build confidence and make connections. The resources from the British Red Cross can help you build confidence and cope with loneliness. At times, life can feel overwhelming. It can be hard to know where to look for advice or how to reach out to others for support.
The British Red Cross resources and activities are here to give you a helping hand.
Sing yourself to better health with free sessions with Buzz’s singing tutor Martin.
Singing is a great way to lift your mood and improve your mental wellbeing. Earlier this year Buzz worked in collaboration with Martin to bring you free singing lessons, and he's back to lift your spirits this winter with 6 new sessions including a festive finale.
The new sessions start on 17 November at 2pm and run for 6 weeks, every Tuesday at 2pm.

Then The University of Manchester want to speak to you about your life experiences of racism and discrimination and how these have affected your life. The University also want to hear what life has been like for you during the Covid-19 pandemic and recent Black Lives Matter movement and protests in the UK.
Whether or not you’re up to date with the language around neurodiversity, ADHD, autism, dyslexia and other terminology, most workplaces include people who think differently, and who might be part of a neurominority.
The Greater Manchester Resilience Hub is extending its covid-19 psychological and emotional wellbeing support to thousands more health and care staff (including VCSE organisations) and their families who work and / or live in Greater Manchester.
This Christmas Healthy Me Healthy Communities are providing toys and gifts for children aged 0-16 for families that attend the Community Grocers.
Donations of toys, selection boxes, books and comics, games and puzzles, toiletries, arts and crafts are all very welcome.
All donations can be new or unopened/unused and toys must have the ‘CE’ marking to ensure safety.
Together Dementia Support (TDS) has grown significantly since it was set up to support people affected by dementia in 2014. TDS provide individualised and innovative support and activities to people who are living with dementia and to their family carers, working with a large team of volunteers.
The evaluation toolkit is used to capture the impact that arts and cultural activities have on children and young people's mental health. It is for use by organisations that provide arts and cultural programmes for children and young people, based in Greater Manchester.
