The Walk for Women is back again for International Women’s Day 2024 on 9 March, Manchester City Centre, 12pm - 2.30pm.
Meet at 12pm on Mount Street behind Central Library (by the John Cassidy 'Ardrift' statue)
The march will make its way along Mount Street and through Albert Square to Brazennose Street, before turning right into Deansgate and continuing all the way to Manchester Cathedral.

Greater Manchester Combined Authority is launching a new campaign to help Greater Manchester residents access support, advice, and potentially free upgrades to improve their homes.
The Feel the Benefit campaign aims to help residents understand what can be done to improve the energy efficiency of their homes, reducing their energy bills and making their homes warmer and greener.
The RADEQUAL Campaign was co-designed with communities and its aim is to build resilience to hateful extremism - ideas, attitudes and behaviours that are hateful towards specific ‘others’ and designed to undermine social cohesion.
The VCSE Commissioning and Investment Group are planning where to focus energy over the next two years. To do this, they want to understand how far they have come in implementing the recommendations of the Greater Manchester VCSE Commissioning Framework.

Walk for Women
Manchester’s Walk for Women is back on Saturday 9 March 2024. The walk will begin at Mount Street, behind Central Library, at 12pm and walking through Albert Square and down Deansgate to Manchester Cathedral.
