Vinspired have teamed up with Comic Relief to offer 100 Cashpoint Grants to help young people aged 14-25 run LGBTQ+ social action projects in their communities.
The Peter Stebbings Memorial Charity makes grants to UK registered charities, for work in the UK and overseas. Projects in the UK should fall into the following categories: Medical research and care; Social welfare; Homelessness; Hospices; Mental health/counselling; Drug and alcohol therapeutic support; Offender support; Community regeneration; and Vulnerable families, women and children.
NHS England’s ‘celebrating participation in healthcare’ community grants scheme is open for applications for the third year. Grants of up to £2000 are available to voluntary/community organisations to showcase how they have been involving patients, service-users and the public in improving health services.
To apply you must be a voluntary or community organisation and be able to share your project successes in a creative way.
Comic Relief has launched a £1.75 million fund to support vulnerable and disadvantaged young men with mental health problems. Comic Relief is seeking proposals to deliver specialised mental health provision which puts the needs of young men at the heart of their work. Comic Relief are especially interested in funding organisations that test out different approaches to engagement and support to establish what works.
The Magdalen Hospital Trust makes small grants (usually £500 - £2,000) towards projects that support vulnerable children and young adults - particularly projects that: provide training for work and personal development; provide clubs for young people; assist crime prevention; provide emergency care; provide play schemes; and provide mental health support and counselling.

It showcases just a few of the hundreds of funding opportunities available for local community, voluntary and faith organisations.

Adactus have £9,000 left for the Miles Platting area in its BIG (Breathe Investment Grant) Scheme and they also have grants available to support projects throughout the areas where Adactus operates.
Adactus have been supporting community groups for the last 8 years and are inviting Community Groups and projects to apply for a grant of up to £2,000.
As part of its continued commitment to raising awareness, reducing and ultimately preventing Forced Marriage/Honour Based Violence and Abuse, Manchester City Council is aiming to provide investment in 2017/18 through the Directorate for Children and Families to Voluntary, Community Sector, not for profit and faith sector organisations to further address this issue.
Sport can have a significant and measurable impact on people’s lives. Recognising the positive impact rugby union and its values can have on individuals and communities, Comic Relief and England Rugby are working in partnership to deliver the Try for Change Fund.
Not-for-profit cultural organisations can apply for funding of between £10,000 and £40,000 per year, from April 2018 to March 2022, to support the core costs of their organisation. A total of £280,000 per year is available (subject to annual budget setting) over four years from this fund.
