Manchester Arena Memorial Grant Programme – apply by 9 February 2019

The Inter Faith Youth Trust is launching a new grant programme for young people’s organisations to hold inter faith events or activities in the Greater Manchester area. May 2019 will mark two years since the bombing at the Manchester Arena. The focus of the project is to highlight the good that can come from different communities working together in friendship. Grants are for between £200 to £1,000.

Nationwide Building Society Community Grants – apply by 7 December 2018

The Nationwide Building Society Community Grants programme is now open for applications. Charities, Community Land Trusts and housing co-operatives can apply for grants of between £10,000 and £50,000 to make a change in your local area. The applications will be reviewed and voted on by a regional Community Board, made up of Nationwide members, colleagues and local housing charities. And it’s more than just money, the funded projects will also get community and volunteering support.

Extended flash round of mini-grants available through Macc's Sharing Wellness Campaign

As part of our ongoing Manchester-wide conversation about mental wellbeing and Sharing Wellness campaign, we are now offering an extended flash round of mini grants of between £500 and £1000 to VCSE groups. The campaign is supported by Manchester Health & Care Commissioning through its Mental Health Grants Programme.The deadline for completed application forms is by 5pm on 23rd November 2018.

NOMA Community Fund – apply by 6 December 2018

The NOMA Fund offers awards of up to £1,000 to grassroots community organisations working with young people aged between 11 and 25 years old. Activity needs to be taking place and supporting those who live within the boundary of the M60 motorway. Annual income of groups applying to the Fund should be less than £100,000. NOMA

Preventing hate crime: funding for community projects

Apply for funding for community projects that prevent hate crime. Hate crimes are crimes that are motivated by hostility or prejudice on the grounds of race (including colour, nationality, ethnicity and national origin), religion, disability, sexual orientation and transgender identity. Providing funding for projects that prevent hate crime is one of the actions included in the UK government’s hate crime action plan.

The Santander Foundation Discovery Grants

The Santander Foundation awards grants of up to £5,000 to help disadvantaged people make the most of their future. Santander Foundation

Discovery Grants support projects that improve people’s knowledge, skills or which provide innovative solutions to overcome social challenges. The Santander Foundation can only support projects which fulfil these goals and our three priority areas - Explorer, Transformer and Changemaker.
