Description of opportunity:

 

Healthwatch Manchester is your local consumer champion for health and social care. We are seeking Ambassador volunteers to represent Healthwatch Manchester at a range of forums, groups and other influential bodies and provide an information exchange between Healthwatch Manchester and these bodies.

Main duties & responsibilities:

  • Build a productive and collaborative relationship with these bodies
  • Accurately represent the views and ethos of Healthwatch Manchester at any meetings
  • Provide and gather information which supports the work of Healthwatch Manchester
  • Travel across the Manchester area
Skills / Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to accurately represent the views, ethos and standpoint of an organisation
• Confidence to speak up at meetings
