We aim to make life better for people by offering a safe, welcoming space; free space for community groups to meet; and a place for new ideas to grow. Our cafe resources our not-for-profit work - we serve quality, fresh, delicious food and drink from 10.30am - 5.30pm Wednesday - Friday.
We are looking for friendly folk to come and join our team of volunteer Home-Makers and work in our cafe. The role can include food preparation, serving, taking orders and payment, making hot drinks (including using the espresso machine), clearing and cleaning in the cafe, looking after customers and generally being a welcoming and lovely person for our customers and community space users to meet and chat with.
Any volunteer with cafe, food or barista experience would be particularly helpful to us - but we can also provide training and support so this is not essential.
