Description of opportunity:

Becoming a Treasurer will enable you to make a real difference to some of the most vulnerable people in society and promote creativity to people across Trafford

The overall role of the Treasurer is to maintain an overview of an organisation’s affairs, ensuring its financial viability and ensuring that proper financial records and procedures are maintained.

Hours– Trustees meet four times a year. These meetings are usually in the day but occasionally in the  evening.

 
Skills / Qualifications:

Good knowledge and experience in accounting and finances

Good knowledge of accounting systems like ‘QuickBooks’

Excellent admin and organizational skills

Effective IT skills

Excellent communication and team-work skills
