The Openshaw Day Centre is run by Age UK Manchester & is looking for volunteers to assist our Support Workers, who provide Day Care for approximately 30 older ladies and gentlemen with various needs.

You will be helping support a very busy kitchen team who need help with food preparation, coffee/tea making for customers, washing up and serving customers.

These roles are very varied and could involve making tea and toast, serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, washing up after meals and leaving the kitchen clean and tidy.

We pay out-of-pocket travel expenses and, due to the nature of our business, volunteers will need to submit to a DBS check.

If you have a few hours to spare each week and would like to join a happy, friendly and caring team, please get in touch, we're sure you will find it very rewarding.
