What is Volunteers’ Week?
Volunteers’ Week is an annual event which takes place at the start of June. It celebrates the contribution made by millions of volunteers across the UK.
What is a Volunteering Surgery?
A Volunteering Surgery is an informal drop-in session for anybody wanting to know more about volunteering or social action - come and speak with active volunteers (surgeons) to hear their motivations and stories of volunteering.
If you feel inspired, members of the Volunteer Centre Manchester team will also be on hand to provide information about volunteering opportunities and how you can get involved.
This is a FREE drop-in event, light refreshments and a (late) buffet lunch will be provided - booking is NOT required.
I’m an active Volunteer, how can I help the surgery?
We need surgeons to make our surgery work!
If you’re an active volunteer – or work with volunteers and would like to support the volunteering surgery please book onto this event by clicking HERE.
All volunteers will be provided with lunch and a certificate of thanks in recognition of your contribution.
