Every year all the shortlisted nominees for our Spirit of Manchester Awards have a short film made of their project. These are then voted on at the awards evening by the audience to determine the winner in each category.
We invite shortlisted groups to attend Community Reporter training in making a film so they can produce their own film and gain the skills, support, and resources to continue to promote their work through film making. The groups who can't attend training have their films made by other already trained Community Reporters. The reporters invoved have really enjoyed visiting and learning about the projects.
