Tens of thousands of people were involved in the consultation which looked at how to make Manchester into the place people would want to live, work, play and do business in 2025.
Manchester City Council has been awarded £50,000, £25,000 by the Office for the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) and £25,000 by the Community Safety Partnership (CSP) for a LGBT focussed IDVA service. The full funding of £50,000 will be awarded to one successful applicant who will need to work with the LGBT community across Greater Manchester.
OurManchester Hive on crowdfunding platform Spacehive has a pledge pot of £60,000 for your local projects. The aim is to improve Manchester's parks, open spaces and other areas of the City and get people active. Help make quirky and exciting ideas happen in Manchester. 
The theme for Manchester International Women’s Day 2017 is Our Manchester Women. This has been chosen to recognise the huge contribution women have made in making Manchester the world class city it is today.
To celebrate World Aids Day BHA are holding a Market Place event and workshops that promote the health and wellbeing of BME individuals and communities in Manchester. 
The event will take place on Saturday 3 December 2016, 11am-4pm at St. Thomas Centre, Ardwick Green North, Manchester, M12 6FZ.
