• Find out about Discover Peace Europe –partners in Berlin, Budapest, The Hague, Paris, Turin and Vienna

• Look at human rights, diverse cultures and democracy through the city’s landmarks
• Share skills and ideas to support, follow or adapt the trail for your own group, class or organisation

Safeguarding Concerns about Children and Adults in Manchester

 

What to do if you have concerns about individual children or adults

If you have any worries about a child's safety or welfare, in the first instance speak to a Contact Officer at the Manchester Contact Centre on 0161 234 5001 or fax on 0161 255 8266. The Contact Officer will then notify the First Response Team of your concerns.

In addition, you can call the NSPCC Child Protection helpline on 0808 800 5000 to discuss your concerns, or ask for advice by email.

One Team - Manchester's Approach to Health and Social Care Integration

The final version of the specification for One Team has been published. One Team is Manchester's approach to bringing health and social care staff together to deliver an integrated service in 12 patches across the city. Section 1 outlines the challenges that Manchester faces in terms of health and wellbeing and the key strategies in place to meet those challenges. Section 2 describes the specification and the design parameters.

Heritage Lottery Fund - First World War: then and now

The First World War affected millions across the globe and shaped the world we live in. The Centenary is a chance to understand the war better, uncover its stories and explore what it means to us today.

Everyone should have the chance to discover more about the war and mark the Centenary. That’s why the Heritage Lottery Fund is providing this special grant programme for community projects.

Not-for-profit organisations in the UK with a bank account and a constitution can apply for grants of between £3,000 and £10,000.
