It’s brilliant to hear that you want to volunteer!
Volunteering put simply is helping out, lending a hand, giving time to help others. It is an amazing opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills and get involved in your community or in the life of the city.
Anyone can volunteer and here at Volunteer Centre Manchester, we do our very best to bring together a diversity of opportunities for citizens of Manchester to support the vibrant range of voluntary, community and not for profit organisations in Manchester - and beyond.
Whether you're looking for something specific, to support a cause you really care about or are just making your first steps into the world of volunteering you can start here by registering with us.
Once you have registered you will be able to sign up for a group induction that will give you an introduction to volunteering, and how to identify and apply to volunteering opportunities that fit best fo you.
At the moment we have quite a long form so get a brew, get settled and make that first step into the wonderful world of volunteering.
We're here to help
If you need any support throughout the registration process or once you've registered then we can offer 1:1 appointments. To arrange an informal discussion with us please call 0161 830 4770 or e-mail email@example.com; we're always happy to help!
Already registered with us? Log in here:
If you are signposting or referring someone to the volunteer centre who has additional support needs you can do this by using our referral form.
If you'd prefer to complete a paper-based registration form for the volunteer centre, you can view, download and print an expression of interest form, send it to us and we'll get back in touch with you.
First, we'll need your postcode:
Volunteer Centre Manchester is funded to work with people that live in the City of Manchester. Therefore, before you register we require your postcode to check whether you live within the city.
This can be confusing as not all postcodes that begin with an M are within the Manchester City boundary.
