The River Manchester
We assist by providing emergency food, clothing, furniture, training and further assistance where possible.
Our primary aim is to bring hope and support to those facing or fleeing Domestic Violence and to empower them to create a better life for themselves. We provide a safe space for people to share their lives and stories within a work-structured environment. Our flagship Training, Enterprise, Nurture (TEN) scheme supports over 70 persons a year to empower them in reskilling, emotional support and back on the ladder of employability. We also run various workshops in Mental Health and Domestic Abuse Awareness.
To support those who have fled and experienced domestic abuse with emergency food, clothing, furniture resettlement package and voluntary placements, training, emotional 1-21- and group workshops.
