We are hosting another Get to know trusteeship event for organisations who are looking to recruit trustees and for people who are looking or want to find out more about becoming a trustee.

Macc’s Volunteering Team and Capacity Building Team are working together to deliver the event; Get to Know Trusteeship!
This event will include a panel of trustees talking about their experience and a networking opportunity for people to learn about your organisation and what trustee roles you have available.
By registering for the event, you will need to happy and willing to:
- Have a stall set up (don’t worry we’ll have a table ready for you)
- Bring some leaflets!
- Chat to people about your organisation and the trustee roles you have available
- Chat about what people would be getting involved in as a trustee
- Chat about the experience, personal qualities or attributes you are looking for

Do you want to know more about what it could mean to take on such a role before making a commitment?
Macc is holding an information and networking event to promote the role and impact of trusteeship. We want to encourage connections between potential trustees and directors and the recruiting charities and organisations from the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector.
Participants will:
- Hear about ‘What is trusteeship?’, along with good examples of what it means and feels like to belong to a board or committee
- Network with other would-be trustees, and meet a host of groups and organisations that are actively recruiting trustees and board members
- Have an opportunity to ask questions to an expert panel: ‘Ask us anything about trusteeship’
