These sessions are crafted in partnership with Building Resilience Together to strengthen and equip communities like yours to effectively prepare for, respond to, and recover from various emergencies.

Building resilient communities is crucial for effectively responding to emergencies and ensuring swift recovery with minimal long-term negative impacts. Climate change impacts various aspects of our lives and we have seen the effect of this in various emergencies in Greater Manchester – such as localised flooding, extreme cold weather and heat events. This workshop offers a platform to assess future emergencies that could arise, examine ongoing efforts to address these challenges, and brainstorm innovative solutions.
