19 Oct 2012 - 11:29 by michelle.foster

The Big Dig is a nationwide project which aims to engage over 10,000 people in Community Food-Growing Projects across England.

Do you have a Community Garden or Group Allotment?

A green space at your School, Youth Club, Church or Mosque that you want to reclaim and develop?

Does your Community want to create such a growing space?

In Greater Manchester Big Dig is run by The Kindling Trust.

Big Dig work with your group to:
• Create a community growing space - everything from a pot to a plot
• Clear an overgrown area and bring an area back to life
• Run a planning session or a growing training session
• Cheaper Bulk buying of Seeds etc
• Network and mutual support from other Greater Manchester Community Gardens
• Community events with local and national publicity and recognition
• Support with Volunteer recruitment
• Training based around your needs, for a training ideas list, visit: www.kindling.org.uk/node/621

To access this training and support sign up as a Big Dig Garden Project
