COOKBank 2 day Training Course plus 4 bespoke 2 hour cooking session

Cracking Good Food is a sustainable cooking network, which promotes cooking seasonal food from scratch, supporting the local economy and food producers and reducing food waste through Cookery Schools & Community Outreach. 70% of the work is working with vulnerable, disadvantaged and hard-to-reach community groups.

Cracking Good Food are running a CookBANK 2 day Training Course on 25/26 April for 2 delegates followed by 4 bespoke 2 hour cooking sessions with your community members.

Train the Trainer - setting up a Cooking Club

A training package designed to meet the needs of community focused organisations and individuals.

The two day course will include:
• Defining ‘Good’ Food
• How to overcome the many barriers to cooking healthy food from scratch
• Resourceful financial solutions to food poverty and food waste
• Logistics of setting up and running a Cracking ‘Good’ Community cooking club
• A hearty meal! You will deliver a cooking workshop to each other incorporating these messages at the end of the 2 day training
• A full 40 page colour Toolkit as a guide for future support at the end of the training
• Certificate of Achievement
• Each cooking class in your community will provide you with the opportunity to demonstrate your newly honed skills with the reassurance of your trainer being on hand to guide you through and deal with any issues

Having a COOKBank trainer present will:
• Instill you with a greater level of confidence
• Allow for direct feedback of your delivery style and content
• Provide extra resource to ensure your training session runs smoothly
