The theme for Manchester International Women’s Day 2017 is Our Manchester Women. This has been chosen to recognise the huge contribution women have made in making Manchester the world class city it is today. 
Manchester City Council wants to celebrate the strength and resilience of women and the many roles they play as leaders in neighbourhoods inspiring trust and friendship, contributing to the economic success of the city in their roles across the professions and all areas of work as well as being the building block to family life.
