Would you like to help people and servoces understand your culture and community.

Just Psychology, in partnership with Survivors Manchester, are looking to recruit Cultural Consultants from Chinese, Somali and Eastern European communities.

Benefits of the scheme:
• Receive training on working across cultures, counselling skills and how health care systems work
• Raise awareness of key health issues at a variety of events
• Support professionals to understand your culture and community
• Paid position

You will be:
• Able to offer information, advice and raise awareness
• Able to understand the barriers to services for people from different cultures
• Able to talk about complex or distressing information sensitively

Just Psychology will be holding an open day’s for people who are interested in finding out more about the role of cultural consultants, on:
21 April 2017, 10am-12pm at the Kath Locke Centre, Hulme, Manchester, M15 5DD
28 April 2017, 10am-12pm at the Win Yin Society – Sheung Lok Wellbeing Centre, Grosvenor Centre, Justin Close, Manchester, M13 9UB
