Ladyfest Community Fair

8 Sep 2016 - 15:44 by michelle.foster

Ladyfest are currently inviting organisations, charities and groups to attend their community fair that will be taking place at Manchester Methodist Central Hall on the 8 October from 12-6pm.

Attendees are to be not for profit only, with the aims of raising awareness of, educating on or providing support for women and women's issues, with a focus on Manchester and the wider region.

Ladyfest welcome inclusive organisations that promote self-defining women, trans, non-binary and intersex participants.  The main focus of the event is the promotion of the organisation, charity or groups aims and activities, in addition to providing education on ways for attendees to provide support, including volunteering, fundraising, donations and promotion.

Specific campaign, fundraising activity and requests for donations on the day of the community fair are to be agreed with Ladyfest MCR in advance to allow for promotion to people attending the feminist community fair.

For talks or interactive activities, make LadyFest MCR aware of timetables so these can be supported and promoted in advance and there will have a room available for 15 minute slot presentations.

Tables are provided and the building has wheelchair access to all floors. There is a platform lift at the main entrance and a lift to all floors in the foyer. Toilets and baby changing facilities are available within the building.

Spaces will go fast so, book your place here: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/ladyfest-mcr-feminist-community-fair-tickets-26620525709
