The OneFamily Foundation is running this national funding competition for community projects in the UK that are nominated by OneFamily customers. 
Through its Community Awards, the OneFamily Foundation wishes to make money available to help its customers make a positive difference to a project in their local community. Although projects must be nominated by a OneFamily customer, community groups can look for a customer to make a nomination on their behalf.
The 2016 categories are:
• Health, Disability and Social Care
• Schools and Centres of Education
• Sports and Social Groups
• Youth and Affiliated Organisations
Community Awards of £5,000 and £25,000 are available for projects put forward by customers to improve their community. In each of the four categories, the Foundation awards one £25,000 Community Award during each round and up to five £5,000 Community Awards during each round.
The information you provide on your application form will create your project page. Once the projects have been shortlisted, it’s time to gain the public’s support and bring in the votes via your project page. Share your story to promote and raise awareness of your project.
