The Power of Music Fund

7 Dec 2023 - 10:44 by michelle.foster

Dementia choirs, musical activities for carers and other initiatives supporting people through music will be able to apply for multi-year grants of either £1,000 or £2,000 per year, depending on the a blue bag with a yellow ribbon around the top and white pound sign on the frontsize and scope of the project.

There is a wide variety of music activities for people living with dementia and they welcome applications from providers of all different types of musical offers and services.

They can fund new activity, however your organisation should already be delivering music activities or working with people living with dementia and carers. They’ll also fund those already delivering music activities for people living with dementia.

You can apply if you are any of the following:

  • UK constituted voluntary or community organisation
  • UK registered charity
  • UK charitable incorporated organisation (CIO)
  • UK not-for-profit company
  • UK community interest company (CIC)
  • UK statutory body e.g. NHS
  • A care provider registered with the CQC

Activity should take place between April 2024 – Dec 2026 and be delivering activities to a group of 10 people or more.
