Further to the successful delivery of the Rethinking Radicalisation and Radical Dialogue programmes, Manchester has been working with communities to develop a new and exciting community resilience campaign and grant funding programme called RADEQUAL. 
RADEQUAL is an important campaign for everyone in the city as it is aimed at working together to ensure that prejudice, hate and extremism is eradicated and that our communities do not become divided. RADEQUAL is Manchester's campaign to challenge these views, connect our communities and champion the values that our city was built upon.
Grants of up to £2,000 are available for voluntary and community sector groups, including schools, RSL's and charities in Manchester wishing to develop activities that promote and deliver the RADEQUAL principles and grant priorities.
The grant priorities include:
• Promoting Manchester's shared values and identity
• Building communities that are resilient to extremism and intolerance
• Increasing participation and empowerment (across a range of groups and communities)
• Providing safe spaces for all communities to come together and have dialogue
• Strengthening inter / intra faith leadership
Activities will need to be delivered between 1 January 2017 and 31 March 2017.
