The Town Hall Extension provides a variety of skills workshop and training all available to Manchester residents. The following organisations provide workshops:

Citizens Advice Bureau
Advice and guidance on benefits, work, debt and money, housing, law and rights and discrimination

Free recruitment service for Manchester businesses, matching residents to live opportunities
When: Every day in the Customer Service Centre

National Careers Service
Employment and skills advice, one-to-one support, CV writing, interview skills
When: Tuesday’s all day

Digital Skills Drop-in
Digital Skills training
When: Tuesday mornings

Central Library Work Club
Open access work club for Manchester residents, offering free information, advice, guidance and training around employment, supported by The Manchester College.
When: Wednesday all day

National Careers Service
Employment and skills advice, one-to-one support, CV writing, interview skills
When: Wednesday all day

Volunteer Centre Manchester
Information, support and training for residents who want to volunteer
When: Wednesday afternoons

Self Help Services
Cognitive Behavioural Training for people experiencing low level mental health issues
When: Friday’s all day
