The idea behind the Grassroots Giving campaign is to help community organisations, or groups, who only have access to limited funding from elsewhere. Submissions are welcome from community groups of all shapes and sizes - Skipton Building Society are looking to 
support smaller groups who struggle to find funding elsewhere and will not fund registered charities.
Skipton Building Society have 163 pots of £500 to give away.
Application process
Deadline for entries is 29 July 2016
The shortlisted groups will be announced and you can view all their profiles on the website during August
From 1 September online voting then begins - giving the public the chance to show us which groups are the most valued in their local communities
The 2016 winners will be announced in November
Winners will receive their £500 contribution in December (based on all necessary paperwork having been supplied to Skipton Building Society)
