Do you live in Harpurhey? buzz Manchester Health and Wellbeing service need local residents to help with some exciting new work

buzz Manchester Health and Wellbeing service need Harpurhey based Volunteers for a Research project in your area
buzz Manchester Health and Wellbeing service need to recruit people from Harpurhey to volunteer as community researcher. The research project aims to improve the lives of people who have a long term health condition. You will get 2 days free training from the University Of Central Lancashire plus a half day Safeguarding Adults training. The training and the project will all take place in Harpurhey. Volunteers will get travel expenses in the form of a weekly bus pass or petrol expenses, free lunch and a free mobile phone which is there’s to keep at the end of the project. You will need to live in the Harpurhey Ward and be willing to undertake Disclosure and Barring Service check which the project will pay for.

buzz Manchester Health and Wellbeing service want to find out more about the support networks that people living with a long-term health condition rely on and how effective these are. buzz Manchester Health and Wellbeing service want to find out what could be done to improve these networks and what support is needed to make them happen. You can help by asking people who you have contact with if they would be willing to take part in a confidential 45 minute interview. Participants will have the opportunity to meet new people and also find out about some sources of support that is available in their community.
