North West Regional Strategic Migration Partnership (RSMP) is offering grants of between £1,000 and £2,000 for voluntary, community, faith, and social enterprise sector organisations to provide a variety of services for Ukrainians and their hosts living in Northwest of England.
The Community Funding for Ukraine Support Programme will support projects and activities such as:
- Services that support Ukrainians to settle into life in Northwest England and integrate with their local community, including informal conversation clubs, community kitchens, and social events.
- Running events or programmes that support specific sub-groups within the Ukrainian community who may face additional barriers to integration, such as children, older people, LGBTQIA+ people, or people with disabilities.
- Supporting Ukrainians to access services for which funding has been made available, such as English language and employment.
- Supporting and signposting Ukrainians to access advice, information, and support on topics such as council services, benefits, education, housing, the NHS, and cost-of-living support.
- Supporting the education and celebration of Ukrainian culture.
Proposed projects must be completed by no later than 31 October 2024.
