Weston Charity Awards

The Weston Charity Awards have been created to celebrate and support great charities working in the fields of Youth, Welfare and Community.

The Awards are for registered charities in the North of England and the Midlands.

Weston will select 18 winners this year and each winner will receive a package of benefits, which include:
• Coverage in the media to help your charity to increase its profile and raise awareness of your work
• A fully funded year working with Pilotlight – an organisation using experienced and senior business leaders to mentor charities to help them develop and to face the future with confidence
• Additional up-front funding of £6,200 to support the charity to make the most of the Pilotlight experience
• Travelling expenses to meet your business mentors in London
• Access to the advice and support of the Garfield Weston Foundation and Pilotlight for any specific needs or issues your charity might have

To be eligible to apply, charities must have the following:
• A registered charity number
• Working in the fields of Welfare, Youth or Community
• At least one paid full-time member of staff in a leadership position
• Income less than £5 million
• Provides direct services to beneficiaries
• Majority of activity or beneficiaries are in the Midlands or North of England
