Manchester Community Action Champions Courses

22 Oct 2020 - 13:17 by michelle.foster

The Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Peace Foundation and Manchester City Council are working together to offer two free six week online training courses in Greater Manchester.

The Manchester Community Action Champions course and its youth specific equivalent, Manchester Youth Community Action Champions are being offered to residents of Burnage, Levenshulme, Longsight and Moss Side. The courses explore how issues of prejudice, hate and extremism are affecting our communities. Both courses will help participants to develop skills in having conversations about these challenging topics and to become better equipped in conflict resolution.

This digital series forms part of RADEQUAL, Manchester’s campaign to build community resilience to prejudice, hate, and extremism: www.makingmanchestersafer.com/info/18/radequal
