The new £5m GMCA Community Grants Programme will fund a number of projects across Greater Manchester. Local Voluntary and community sector (VCSE) organisations and Housing Associations can bid for funding up to £100k.
Do you want to reduce the energy costs of a community owned or managed building? Would you like to reduce your carbon footprint by making your building more environmentally friendly? Would you be interested in taking on a loan to install energy generating/saving technology?
This programme is for small, local, specialist charities supporting people facing complex issues.
Under this programme Lloyds Bank Foundation will support charities to strengthen their capacity and capabilities and become more resilient through a range of tailored development support offers alongside a three-year unrestricted grant of £75,000.

Charities can now apply for grants to deliver projects next Spring which improve employment prospects for people experiencing deprivation across the UK.
The Thomas Wall Trust is accepting applications from UK charities with a turnover of £10,000 to £500,000 that have been registered with the Charity Commission for at least three years.
The next National Lottery Open Week will take place from Saturday 9 – Sunday 17 March 2024.
To say thank you for the £30 million raised for good causes every week by players, The National Lottery will offer free entry and special offers at a range of participating National Lottery funded venues across the UK, as part of Open Week.
The 10GM Cancer and Inequalities Grants Programme is offering grants of up to £2,000 to VCSE organisations to deliver innovative projects to support improvements in early cancer diagnosis amongst people who are at higher risk of later-stage detection and diagnosis.
Movement for Good’s fourth and final special draw of 2023 opens on 6 November for five days only.
This year, in addition to the main £1,000 Movement for Good draws, four special draws have been run with 10 prizes of £5,000 in each.
The theme of the fourth special draw is charities supporting children and young people.
The Manchester City Council Work and Skills Team is looking to commission a voluntary sector organisation to deliver two short projects which seek to engage with and support economically inactive residents from communities experiencing racial inequalities, to move them closer to employment.
