Our Manchester Strategy 2025-35 launched

To develop the new Our Manchester strategy, Manchester City Council listened to over 10,000 voices across Manchester to shape a future we can all be proud of.

Over the next 10 years, they will be focusing on the 12 key priorities residents said mattered most – Our People, Our Neighbourhoods, Our City.

The SoundPound Group: Turning pounds into power together

The SoundPound Group is a consortium of 14 credit unions across Greater Manchester. Since 2016, it has raised the profile of credit unions and delivered city-wide initiatives.

In Autumn 2024, it rebranded from Greater Manchester Credit Unions to SoundPound. With a fresh identity and sleek new website, it’s helping more people access affordable Annual Bee Network travel (bus, tram, or both) via weekly or monthly repayments – thanks to a partnership with Transport for Greater Manchester and Mayor Andy Burnham.

CAHN has partnered with ACAS to deliver an informative session on the topic of Workplace Discrimination.
