The Manchester College are holding an Open Day on 5 November, 10am-2pm to recruit for Administration Positions in the Manchester area. This is aimed at young NEET, Manchester Residents. Those who are successful at the open day will be invited to attend a 4 week unpaid pre recruitment programme, which will then lead on to paid work experience and those who are not will be followed up and invited to attend the next round of recruitment.
Wigan and Leigh College have a range of free distance learning courses available particularly around the Health and Wellbeing sector such as Understanding Autism, Principles of dementia, Awareness of mental health problems and Principles of Team leading.
The courses can increase confidence when dealing with difficult situations and learn more about issues which are around everyday.
Courses are free to everyone aged 24+ and can be completed over a 12 week period.
At the college there are assessors on hand to support either over the phone or through e-mail.
