The Proud Trust, a specialist LGBT+ charity for young people based in Manchester, has been honoured with The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, the highest award a voluntary group can receive in the UK.
The charity has been fittingly announced as an award recipient during National Volunteers Week, which takes place during the first week of June in 2021.

Talk, Listen, Change has a new programme engaging with young people who use harm, this programme will run in several boroughs including Stockport, Manchester, Wigan and Salford; this programme is funded by the Home Office and so will be at no cost to the local authority, providers, or agencies.
Greater Manchester based charity I4YPC, in partnership with Dataspire Solutions and in association with Unity Radio, are launching #RapYourTown – an online project aimed at supporting young people to express themselves through the art of rap.
Building on the learnings from Action for Conservation’s flagship Penpont Project (the world’s largest youth-led nature restoration project), they are aiming to support other youth-led land-based restoration projects over the coming years.
