A.F. Blakemore is marking its centenary with a 1917 Heritage Grants Scheme to support good causes across its trading area.

The Open Fund for Organisations supports new music projects led by promoters, talent development organisations, venues, curators and large performance groups. Projects must involve the creation, performance and promotion of new music and enable songwriters, composers, or solo artists, bands, producers and performers of all backgrounds to develop creatively and professionally. 
Funding is available to commission a youth organisation to work creatively (using art, drama, digital content, storytelling) with a group of young people to develop and lead their own debate about the impact of poverty, and devise solutions to reduce generational inequality. 
Comic Relief Community Cash is a grant scheme running across Greater Manchester of £100,000 with grants ranging from £500 to £1,000 available to small organisations that are doing great work to help local people living tough lives. 
Almost 15 million people in England regularly get active, major changes in a person’s life – like a serious injury or illness, moving house, starting a new job, having a baby or retiring – can get in the way of that active habit. 
That’s why Sport England are be investing up to £10 million on supporting those who are regularly active, sport’s core market, to help them stay active.
The Localgiving North West Development Programme supports environmental charities in the North West of England to engage with online fundraising. 
This is a capacity building programme for groups running environmental or 'green' projects in their local community, and combines 12 months of support in running online fundraising campaigns, alongside up to £500 in match funding per group to be spent on the environmental/green project.
