Ending Youth Violence in East Manchester Small Grants Programme

The East Manchester Ending Youth Violence Small Grants Programme will provide funding for voluntary, community and faith organisations working with young people in the East Manchester SRF area.

The grants will support work with young people who are involved in youth violence or are at risk of becoming involved.

Grants of up to £3,000 are available for activities and support for 13-25 year olds from the East Manchester SRF area to be delivered before 31 March 2013.

Manchester Airport Community Trust Fund – Deadline 7 Dec 12

The Manchester Airport Community Trust Fund is a registered charity and was established to promote, enhance, improve and protect both the natural and built environment in the local community. The Trustees award grants of a maximum of £3,000.

In 2011/12, Manchester Airport is contributing £100,000 which is further enhanced by income from fines imposed on airlines when their aircraft exceed noise limits. These funds are then used to support neighbourhood and community projects throughout the area.

£100 million made available for public parks over three years

The Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) and BIG Lottery Fund (Big) are to provide £100 million in grants for public parks over the next three years.

The Parks for People programme is designed to encourage more people to get involved in the management of their local part. The new funding will, for the first time, include projects that conserve historic cemeteries.

Parks for People is for projects related to historic parks and cemeteries in the UK. You can apply for a grant from £100,000 to £5million.

Community Plus – New Santander Foundation Grants Fund

The Santander Foundation has announced the launch of a new grants fund worth £1.23 million.

Designed to be quick and easy to use, nominations can be made by charities as well as Santander customers and staff.

Just visit any Santander branch and complete a nomination form. The completed form should be dropped into the box provided in your local branch. There are no closing dates and entries will be regularly considered by a panel of staff drawn from across the region. Successful charities will be notified within 2 months of submitting their nomination.

Manchester's International Women's Day 2013 Grants

This years international Women's Day grants provide an opportunity for not for profit groups to apply for small grants of £250 to £500 to host events that tackle the under representation of women in the arts, business, sport, science and the environment and promote work with different groups of women in Manchester.

Sport England Launches Get Healthy, Get into Sport

A new pilot fund has been launched by Sport England with funding from the National Lottery. Awards of between £30,001 and £500,000 are available to fund sports projects that can best contribute to improving health while also growing weekly sports participation.

Sport England is focusing this funding on those who are least active and in this way plan to make a significant contribution to reducing health inequalities and producing the greatest potential health benefit in England.
