 The Role

iNostalgia is a small publishing company based in Manchester. We’re a group of experienced publishers, editors and writers who believe passionately in recording local heritage. We love hearing, reliving and capturing the public's stories. We are dedicated to bringing local history to life via images, social media, books, online magazines and events.

iNostalgia require a Volunteer Social Media Marketing Assistant to assist with the following duties:

  • Learning traditional and on-line aspects of publishing
  • Accessing images from the photo library/photoshop
  • Checking data
  • Researching captions
  • Helping to post and analyse social media
  • Liaising with writers/publishers and local interest groups
  • Helping to maintain the website
  • Keeping databases up to date
  • Liaising with bookshops
  • General office duties

Skills/qualifications
The suitable volunteer will have a degree related to Marketing and will have a strong knowledge of Photoshop and Microsoft Office.
