Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity helps seriously ill children and young people to make the most of everyday life. The Charity want to ensure that their families, regardless of shape or size, receive the emotional support they need too.

The Charity help in many ways including through Roald Dahl specialist nurses, family grants and research.

Workshops

As a follow up from the training needs questionnaire launched this summer Manchester Community Central are looking to run a series of workshops in response to the popular topics listed by participants of the questionnaire.

The workshops listed in the attachment below are informal and offer an awareness of the subject ideal for those wishing to gain an overview only and will include networking time for attendees along with Question and Answer sessions.

Bring Your Own (B.Y.O)

Are you new to the voluntary and community sector? Or have you got years' worth of experiences and knowledge to share? Are you facing difficult issues, not sure where to go for answers? None of us are "experts" but we can all learn from each other. With this in mind we have organised a "Bring Your Own" (BYO) event on Tuesday 21st September 2010, 10am until 2pm at GMCVO (The St Thomas Centre, Ardwick Green). There is no agenda, no speakers, we just want you to bring your own questions and experiences and be willing to get involved in conversations with others - we guarantee that you will com
