Description of opportunity:

 

Black Autism Manchester is a community group for black women with presumed or diagnosed autism. The group is to create a safe space to empower and encourage members to share their lived experiences, embrace their neurodiversity as a community, and build a support network. Black Autism Manchester encourage individuals from diverse backgrounds including those with autism, to apply. Black Autism Manchester is a safe space for black women who have or are suspected to have autism.

 

Black Autism Manchester is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Treasurer to join our organisation. As the Treasurer, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, budgeting, and ensuring the financial health of our organisation.

Responsibilities include:

-        Oversee financial transactions and maintain accurate records.

-        Develop and manage budgets.

-        Provide financial reports and updates to the organisation.

-        Collaborate with other team members to ensure financial stability.

-        Staying informed about financial regulations and compliance for CIC’s
