SHARK was commissioned by England's Illegal Money Lending Team to help raise awareness and highlight the risks and dangers around illegal money lending and loan sharks.
Nurturing Foundations is based in Harpurhey, North Manchester, a challenging area which is ranked as the 2nd worst ward in England for the effect of long-term deprivation on children and families. Many have suffered adverse childhood experiences and most have very limited aspirations.

The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) is an independent charitable trust overseen by Impetus, in partnership with the Early Intervention Foundation and Social Investment Business. Talk, Listen, Change has a new programme engaging with young people who use harm, this programme will run in several boroughs including Stockport, Manchester, Wigan and Salford; this programme is funded by the Home Office and so will be at no cost to the local authority, providers, or agencies.
Greater Manchester based charity I4YPC, in partnership with Dataspire Solutions and in association with Unity Radio, are launching #RapYourTown – an online project aimed at supporting young people to express themselves through the art of rap.
Building on the learnings from Action for Conservation’s flagship Penpont Project (the world’s largest youth-led nature restoration project), they are aiming to support other youth-led land-based restoration projects over the coming years.
Elevate Young Minds is a youth-led organisation based in Manchester. They are launching four new programmes geared around helping local youth to grow and develop their skills and provide a space for social interaction, particularly in response to the lack of social activities available at the moment because of Covid.
The Youth Covid-19 Support Fund is provided by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and administered by PricewaterhouseCoopers. The fund will focus on enabling the struggling, but most impactful, youth organisations in England to continue operating, where they may have scaled back service provision or temporarily closed due to reductions in their income as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
