Manchester City Council wants to make Manchester a more inclusive and equal place, where everyone has the same opportunities and a good quality of life, and we all value the diversity of each other’s different backgrounds.
The National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) has launched a website resource around safeguarding for the community and voluntary sector.
Information for the bulletin is compiled from a number of sources including Grantfinder, and direct from funders themselves. It showcases just a few of the hundreds of funding opportunities available for local community, voluntary and faith organisations.
This bulletin is produced by a partnership of local support and development agencies across Greater Manchester.

The fund covers the following areas Openshaw, Clayton, Beswick, Gorton, Abbey Hey, Miles Platting, Longsight, Levenshulme, Rusholme , Fallowfield, Moss Side, Hulme, Ardwick.
The Windrush Day Grant Scheme will support groups to celebrate and commemorate the arrival of the MV Empire Windrush and the contribution of the Windrush Generation in communities across our country. It will also seek to educate about this contribution and the history of the MV Empire Windrush. This programme will support people from many different ages and backgrounds to embrace our shared history.

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government are providing up to £1million of the Cold Weather Fund to Homeless link to administer funding to charitable organisations that are not commissioned by local authorities. The project’s overall aim is to financially support local providers in helping people sleeping rough off the streets this winter.
