Details have recently been announced of a public consultation on the refreshed Strategic Regeneration Framework (SRF) which will guide development at the city centre site over the coming years.
This blog is going to seem really ungrateful but I know for sure I am not alone in this view.
I am a bit fed up of seeing another fund that gives out tiny grants.
I’ve just had a look at the Balfour Beatty, Laing O’Rourke and Sir Robert McAlpine Construction Fund which is £20,000 in all, and is giving out “small” grants of £500 and “large” grants of £2,000. £2,000 is not a large grant, it’s a tiny grant!
Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust is doing the same thing, though the overall pot is much larger, they are giving out lots and lots of tiny grants.
The NHS Transformation Unit is currently supporting various pieces of work in Greater Manchester (GM) to improve services for patients across GM. The attached bulletin contains information on opportunities for involvement for patients, carers and interested members of the public on project which are currently underway. 
Universal Credit (UC) is the government’s flagship welfare scheme which aims to simplify the benefits system for working age people by bringing together out of work and in work benefits, improve the transition to employment, and make work pay by removing disincentives to work.
In the newsletter Greater Manchester Poverty Action (GMPA) launch their third map showing the locations of accredited advisors and sources of information, guidance and help, your help is needed to develop it further. 
Greater Manchester Mental Health (GMMH) NHS Foundation Trust is holding a series of consultation meetings in Manchester for carers and staff of GMMH services to look at how they can further develop the Trust Family and Carers Strategy. This strategy currently has four priority areas following consultation across Bolton, Salford, Trafford and Specialist Services. Due to the formation of the new Trust, GMMH would like to ensure the priorities reflect those of carers and staff in Manchester.
The North, Central and South Safeguarding Children Fora are the connection between the strategic work of the Manchester Safeguarding Children’s Board (MSCB) and front-line practitioners from all agencies. Their main purpose is to ensure that there is a direct link between practice issues at a local level and the overall direction of the Board.
